Do you have a favorite cryptocurrency? Do you wish it was linked to a game? Well, you are in luck! Nythyria was designed to be compatible with several crypto coins. My game server software is highly configurable. For a small fee, I can implement your favorite crypto coin as a basis for a Nythyria based game. You can even select the name.
Minimum Hosting Requirements
You will need a static IP address and know how to set up your router or switcher to forward UDP packets. You will need an ISP that understands UDP/TCP packet technology and will allow them to your IP address. You should use a lithium battery power station (like Ecoflow) for any power outages. Alternatively, I can handle the hardware aspects for you for an additional small fee.
Pricing
Basic Setup is one bitcoin (BTC). This includes me setting up a computer (running server 2022) with all necessary software for you. You can either run this yourself or I will run it for you for one year for free. If I run and manage it for you, there will be an additional fee of 0.1 BTC per year after the first year. Either way, you will be responsible for customer relations, although I will provide my tools for this.
Suitable Cryptocurrencies
Most crypto coins can be implemented. Basically, any fork (or descendant fork) of Bitcoin node software. Here is a partial (and very incomplete) list of compatible cryptocurrencies:
- Bitcoin (but not Lightning Network due to lack of fixed client deposit addresses)
- Dogecoin, Litecoin, Ravencoin
- Bitcoin Gold, eCash, Bitcoin SV
- Namecoin, Zcash
Unsuitable Crypto Coins
The following crypto coins are unsuitable for one or more reasons:
- Ethereum, Solana, Cardano, Polkadot
- Monero, Ripple, Stellar
- Memecoins or Tokens running on a network
